Sunday, September 8, 8:00 am – 3:00 pm
Launch at Boggy Bayou Nature Park(north end of 3rd street) in Port O’Connor. The take out is at Coloma Creek Bridge on Hwy 1289. The Matagorda Bay shoreline is exposed to wind but paddling from East to West allows prevailing SE winds to be mostly at our back!!
Paddle is about 12 miles in mostly protected water. Recommended for Intermediate and Experienced Paddlers.
Please come early and be ready to launch at 8:00 am. Bring your own lunch for the paddle; Refreshments & snacks provided at the take out with Ecology presentation.
