Guadalupe River to Seadrift

Saturday, July 16, 2019   8 am – 3 pm

This paddle follows Texas Parks & Wildlife Seadrift Paddling Trail and is also the last leg of the Texas Water Safari. We’ll launch at Calhoun’s Riverside RV Retreat off Highway 35 at Guadalupe River and take out at Seadrift Bayfront Park. Paddle is about 13 miles. Because the last 5.5 miles is across the open bay, and is subject to strong winds and waves, this paddle is for Experience Paddlers.  We launch as a group so please come early and Be Ready to Launch at 8:00 am.  Bring your own lunch. Snacks & beverages will be provided at the take out as well as an ecology talk.

Your  $20 donation helps support  SABP’s effort to Protect, Restore, Enhance the San Antonio Bay / Guadalupe Delta Estuary.  Limited to 20 boats.
