The Texas Floating Classroom provides marine science education to K-12 students living in coastal communities and up the watersheds through a variety of ways: aboard the R/V Archimedes, during on-shore activities which supplement lessons taught during the boat trip, and by way of the Traveling Bay touch tank brought to schools and events. Children and adults marvel at the diversity and abundance of species in our of local Texas waters. Participants are encouraged to consider the important role that they play in the conservation of our coastal resources.
