San Antonio Bay Partnership invites you to celebrate our 10 year anniversary as we gather with regional partners to look at the successes achieved together and the future efforts we’ll be taking toward the issues facing our local natural resources.
THE CONFERENCE: We’ve planned two full days of presentations at the University of Houston, Victoria to connect SABP partners, stakeholders and all who are interested in learning more about the issues, challenges and opportunities along the San Antonio Bay / Guadalupe Estuary and Watersheds. Over 40 speakers representing a wide range of organizations will provide the latest information on current efforts and collaborations happening along the Texas Mid-Coast. SPECIAL PERFORMANCE: As part of the celebration SABP is excited to be hosting a special featured performance of Montopolis’ The Living Coast on Wednesday, January 22 at the Leo J. Welder Center for Performing Arts. This multimedia performance that combines a stunning documentary film, live music, and live storytelling celebrating the Texas Gulf Coast.
The Welder Center can seat over 400.

LUNCHEON PROGRAMS: On Wednesday, January 22 there will be a panel discussion The Environment in Art, Music, Film and Literature moderated by Jeffrey Di Leo, UHV Dean of Arts and Sciences. The panel includes authors Andy Sansom and Miles Arceneaux; Composer & Conductor Justin Sherburn; author, poet and environmental lawyer Jim Blackburn and photographer Bill Harvey.
On Thursday, January 23 keynote speaker State Representative Geanie Morrison R-District 30 will talk about the passing of the Oyster Mariculture Bill and and other legislative initiatives on issues affecting the Texas Mid-Coast.
