Special Events:
“Texas Watershed Steward Workshop”: On April 18th, 2012, the San Antonio Bay Partnership helped the Texas Watershed Steward Program host a workshop at the Victoria Educational Gardens in Victoria, Texas. Approximately 40 people attended he day-long training event which included presentations on watershed systems, types and sources of water pollution, and ways to improve and protect water quality in the San Antonio Bay watershed. James Dodson gave a presentation on the community-driven watershed protection and management efforts underway by the San Antonio Bay Partnership.
Planning Workshop: SABP held a Planning Workshop on October 31, 2012. The purpose of the workshop was to review available information in the completed Status and Trends Reports and to identify planning priorities for the immediate future. Details of the event can be found here.
Science and the Stakeholder Workshop: SABP held a two-day workshop, on November 1st and 2nd, 2010, to initiate the process of developing “Status and Trends Reports” on key ecological and economic resources in the San Antonio Bay System. These reports are being developed as part of the first steps in putting together a comprehensive management plan for the San Antonio Bay/Guadalupe Estuary System.
